A-Plus Security Services
was founded in 1990 by the late Mr. Paul Baker of Huntsville, Al. .
After the death of Mr. Baker in 1993, Mr. James E. Pettus obtained ownership in 1994.
A-Plus Security Services adopted the motto of its founder which is "Nothing Is Better than A+ on a Scale of 1 to 10."

Our Goal is to live up to our motto and serve our clients with achieving an "A+" in mind. Anything less is unacceptable.
Mr. James E. Pettus is a decorated Viet Nam Veteran. Among his awards are the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with Clusters. Mr. Pettus has enhanced his military experience with his academic achievements by completing courses in Law Enforcement, Patrol Procedures, Investigation, Criminal Procedures, Criminal Evidences, Criminology, Emergency Medical Technology and Crime Scene Technology.
